At Phebe we recognise that ‘life happens’ and the best laid plans can fail.  Nobody is immune to challenges, whether it is caused by health, poor literacy skills, domestic or sexual violence, displacement, natural disasters, or failed national economies. 

Our interaction with local communities enables us to respond to urgent challenges facing residents.  Our main response and use of the Hardship and Support Fund is for targeted distribution of food and small essential items, at critical economic periods. 

Phebe has been active in this area since Covid and more recently at Christmas periods and during the current cost of living crisis in Nigeria.
