About Phebe Benevolent Foundation
About Us
Phebe Benevolent Foundation
Phebe Benevolent Foundation was registered in 2016 as a NGO in Nigeria. We develop and deliver charitable projects for low-income and deprived communities in Nigeria; primarily within Ogun State but partnering with NGOs in other states of the Federation, to replicate what works and to share good practice.
Sharing the values of Phebe or Phoebe, a woman who wore the badge of kindness in Holy scripture and was a source of benevolence and kindness to many; we seek to reduce poverty and hardship by providing social intervention activities and relevant support for low-income households and people living in disadvantaged communities.
We are grateful to our Trustees, our enabling organisations and kind-hearted individuals who continue to support us with resources and their time. This ensures we can actively contribute towards the development of a more caring and kinder society; that truly supports the poor and most vulnerable people in our communities.
Our Vision
To create a more caring and kinder society that supports the poor and most vulnerable in times of need. To offer them opportunities to reach their full potential and a path to self-sufficiency.
Our Objectives
Phebe Foundation seeks to specifically support the most vulnerable people living in low-income and deprived communities; through benevolent gifting, educational opportunities, and other types of practical interventions during challenging periods. We also seek to work with community-based self-help/,grassroots groups, CSOs and other NGOs to tackle poverty and to increase opportunities across various social policy areas.
